TARIQUIA NATIONAL RESERVE

The Tariquia National Reserve of Flora and Fauna is Bolivia?s only reserve in the Tucumano-Bolivian Mountain Jungle. It forms important functions that ensure the stability of the basin such as the production of water which is one of the most important ecological services that the ecosystem brings to the area. The reserve covers 246,870Ha and is located in the south of the department of Tarija.
